The Company
DO Brazil Coffee, Inc. was founded by Doug and Ebe Becker, two coffee aficionados who live in New York City.
We noticed that:
- Most of the coffee consumed is not as fresh as it should be. In fact, most coffee is rather stale!
- Stale coffee tastes bitter and has a poor aftertaste.
- Thus, coffee is commonly augmented with sugar, milk, cream or other flavor enhancers.
Most people drink coffee this way because they have most likely NEVER tasted truly fresh coffee.
It is our mission at DO Brazil, to provide the world the freshest coffee possible.
Our Staff
Doug Becker
Co-Founder and President
Doug Becker has 15 years of Sales and Marketing experience. His career began with a Cellular One partner, where he was responsible for the development and daily activities of two new retail locations. He was responsible for the supervision of two successful sales and administrative staffs, and the maintenance of high individual sales performance. All sales, inventory, financial record keeping and operations were his responsibility. The value of the customer in a retail organization was learned here, and this is a value that has helped him throughout his career.
Doug spent the next 10 years working for large corporations such as Lucent Technologies, Intermedia Communications and Bridgecom International performing sales and marketing duties. Douglas holds a BS degree in Management and Consumer Studies from the University of Maryland.
Ebe Becker
Co-Founder and Vice President
Ebe Becker is a recent immigrant to the United States from Brazil. Ebe’s family has been in the coffee business for several generations. Her family owns and operates several farms that produce and process coffee, grains, sugar cane and many other products. Ebe’s experience and contacts within this industry allow DO Brazil to obtain its coffee directly from the farms. This control ensures that DO Brazil's coffee is the fresh and of only the highest quality.
Ebe holds a BS degree in Physical Education from Federal University of Uberlandia and an MS degree in Physiotherapy from Uniao Educational Do Planalto Central, the Planalto Central Rehabilitation College in Brazil. The knowledge she gained in this health care related field drives her ambition to promote good health. Do Brazil Coffee sells only health-conscious, 100% natural products.
